Located south of Chevy Chase, northwest of Cleveland Park and north of Glover Park. Tenleytown is a neighborhood that brings together a quiet residential setting with a growing urban center. Other attracting features to Tenleytown include the Wilson Aquatic Center, which has a 50-meter pool, as well as, the Tenley-Friendship Public Library. Dining spots in Tenleytown include Bread & Salt, Masala Art, Tartufo, Coffee Nature, Nando’s Peri-Peri, Kitty O’Shea’s, and Le Chat Noir, a well-loved French restaurant, among many others. Tenleytown is also the location for the esteemed private school, Sidwell Friends School, where the daughters of President Obama attended.
