Located north of Petworth and south of Takoma, Manor Park is a residential neighborhood, with lots of greenery in the neighborhood, including Fort Slocum Park. Manor Park is largely made up of rowhouses and detached houses. Manor Park is highlighted by a single block on Third Street NW, that possess an array of local shops, including restaurants, a dry cleaner and a barbershop. Manor Park is located between the Takoma and Fort Totten Metro stations and is less than a mile from both stations. Most neighborhood kids attend LaSalle-Backus Education Campus, Whittier Education Campus and Coolidge High School.
