The neighborhood is home to a mix of architectural styles, including Colonials, rowhouses and farmhouse-style homes. Additionally there are high-end apartments and condominiums that attract young urban professionals with being in the heart of the action. The biggest attraction for residents of Friendships Heights is its location. Friendship Heights is extremely accessible to public transportation. The neighborhood is a short walk to the Friendship Heights Station on Metro’s Red Line and is close to a number of bus routes along Wisconsin Avenue. Most Neighborhood kids attend Janney Elementary, Deal Middle and Wilson High.
